South African technology services company Adapt IT has announced the appointment of Tony Vincente as its chief executive officer (CEO), as well as two other executive committee changes at its umbrella corporation, Omegro.
Adapt IT says the leadership changes will position the group for further growth and align with Omegro’s successful global operating structure.
Adapt IT joined the Volaris Group, which owns Omegro, in 2022.
“In the three years since, Adapt IT has strengthened substantially through the application of best practices and talent development shared by Constellation Software Inc,” it said in a joint statement with Omegro.
“Adapt IT now forms part of Omegro, a global portfolio of the Volaris Group.”
Vincente, currently serving as chief operating officer (COO) at Adapt IT, will take on the CEO role.
He has held the COO role since September 2021, before which he served as a group executive member focusing on strategy and people.
He holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science Honours degree from the University of South Africa and is a qualified chartered accountant.
“We are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead,” said Vincente.
“Our people and our customers are critical to our work. Having a global network to support our innovation and R&D of our own IP, coupled with a focus on M&A announced today, makes us confident in our ability to achieve our strategy.”

The firms also announced Tiffany Dunsdon’s appointment as Omegro’s Acquiring Group Leader for the Middle East and Africa.
“Growth through acquiring great software companies remains core to our strategy, and these changes create the capacity to support that growth,” said Dunsdon.
“I am confident Adapt IT will continue to thrive under its strong operating leadership team.”
Dunsdon held the CEO role at Adapt IT from September 2021 until February 2025.
Nombali Mbabo, currently chief financial officer at Adapt IT, will adopt the role of Group Finance Director for the Middle East and Africa at Omegro.
